What an establishment! This is my 56th posts since I started blogging on New Year’s Eve this year. And now, it’s already early of July. Half more year to go till it’s 2008!

Ever since my stay in Brunei, I have done some initiatives to do something for the house. And so far, I’m the chef, driver, painter and now the gardener at home! In fact, it all started yesterday when I have this crazy idea with the maid of doing our own crop plot at the backyard. Come to think of it, at least some of the food at home is fresh for start. In the long terms, it saves money and gas for my mum going to the market every weekend! With the crazy heat and smoke from the nearby food stalls, it only last me 10 measly minutes to withstand that kind of atmosphere. But yea, we started on doing it as early as possible so that we wouldn’t be left behind we our house chores as well. With me getting the soils from Rimba and the maid making use of the unwanted woods from the neighbor. We were both excited to have our own crop plot to harvest. Finally it did and for starters, we plant spring onions, parsley and lettuce.

It takes patient to see from a dump looking plot to what you can see in a farm crop. I’m really looking forward how this may turn out to be in a few weeks time. I’m thinking of planting potatoes next but we will see how things may go now.
